Crafting professions costs money to buy ingredients but can give 7 levels each grinding it out to max, 2 professions per character. Story is poor xp but you can skip cutscenes and run straight to map markers to speed them up, completing them is needed to unlock masteries such as autoloot which is huge for convenience.
I think they mean as in if every guild wars 2 proffession went to war, which one would come out winning. As lore wise which proffession would be the strongest, ignoring balancing and game mechanics. I.e in WoW mages in lore have always been shown to be stronger then other classes. Edited April 24, 2022 by Daddy.8125.
The nicest thing is when ur crafting in bulk the crafting speed speeds up. Crafting is really not bad in gw2 but no it's not essential. It's an easy way to boost your gold profits and it opens up ways to cut down on gold costs tho.
Members. 2.5k. Posted March 27, 2018. The playtime on GW2efficiency is probably more relevant than the raw # of characters of any given profession. Most people, myself included, would like to have one of each class in their char slots. The difference is how much time you spend on any given profession. @otto.5684 said:
Tempered Spinal Blades, as you mentioned in your post, requires a Gift of Blades to be crafted, which requires you to have maxed one of the armor crafting professions. Mawdrey will require you to have a Lesser Vision Crystal which is most easily obtained by crafting (either directly or via the Exotic Equipment collection), but can be obtained
